While it’s not always the case, sometimes I need to remind myself that my client’s needs are much simpler than I think they are.
I am a perfectionist in many ways. It is a blessing and a curse. I like to over-deliver. And many times it’s more for myself than for my client. But we both receive the benefits, I just sacrifice more time.
The image above is from the inspirational book Change The Way You See Everything, which discusses the concept of “asset-based thinking.” I have the image posted in my office, in plain sight so I can see it when I am working. It reminds me of another of my favorite quotes: “don’t let perfect ruin good.”
